Editorial Review
A reasonable gripe against a great number of sporting good themed toys has been their lack of versatility. Once a kid has surpassed the skill level engendered by the toy, the toy is pretty much useless, offering no further challenge to the burgeoning athlete. The Grow To Pro series, on the other hand, evolves with the kid presenting increasing challenges along the way. In this three level baseball training set, young kids can practice first hitting the ball off of a tee to build fundamental coordination skills. Then on the "rookie" level, the ball pops up from ground level as kids practice smacking the ball out of the air. Finally, the "pro" level is a pitching machine, lobbing the ball without a prohibitive amount of velocity, to the batter standing up to ten feet away. Four D batteries are required but not included. --Charlie Williams

Product Description
Learn to hit like a pro. There are three ways to play with Triple Hit Baseball, so anyone can learn. Beginners can hit from the tee to teach hand-eye coordination. In Rookie mode, balls pop up automatically, one after another. In pro mode, balls will be pitched automatically from up to 10' away. Includes battery-powered trainer, bat and three balls. Adult assembly required. Requires 4 "D" batteries (not included).

3 out of 5 stars neice has more fun with old school tball   October 3, 2008
N. Corrieri (USA)
overthought her tball gift. she never ever uses it. Likes standard tball instead.

That and its just too light to easily stay upright in the yard.

4 out of 5 stars best in class   September 19, 2008
M. Barra (NY, USA)
Most versatile batting tee.
Had a Littletikes version, that was garbage, broke in 1 day.
This has more options and the balls are soft not hard plastic, much better.
Two cons:
Only comes with 3 balls- should be 5
Motor a little on the noisy side (but thelittle tikes was even louder).
Bottom Line:
This is the best option for this type of toy.

5 out of 5 stars Great Fun & Versatile!   September 7, 2008

This is a lot of fun. I have to admit we have even used it inside our family room (Don't tell!). It has 3 different ways of using it and is fairly easy to set up. I wish we had more than 3 balls and will have to look into ordering more. The adults like this toy as much as our 3 year old does...or more!

5 out of 5 stars Triple Hit Baseball   September 5, 2008
C. Allen (Dorking, Surrey United Kingdom)
This is great, my 4 year old and 6 year old love it - I do too. I wish I had one when I was a kid. Shame they don't sell them over here in the UK as I had a bit of a saga getting it shipped over and it ended up costing more than the toy but I'd do it again the kids love it so much. I highly recommend it.

4 out of 5 stars Tee is too high and too weak   August 19, 2008
Andrew D. Rowell (Durham, NC)
I have a three year old and he knocks the tee off the bottom. It is also too high for him--the tee is at his armpits. I played baseball in college and it is higher than the tees we used.

I like the balls. The bat is fine.
