GREAT GAME GREAT SERVICE February 8, 2008 Hello The game EA Sports Cricket 2005 is just great. Your service is just great. The software came sealed with manual so beautiful which is exactly what I wanted. I thank you very much for selling this software I can't get. So overall I give 100% positive feedback for you.
Batting Sucks May 8, 2007 MSki I have never seen a PC game where the computer wins no matter what you do. The batting controls on this game SUCK! It is impossible to hit more than one run at a time, whilst the computer knocks every bowl you throw at it out of the park! Ridiculous game play, poor controls, and as much as I love cricket, this game really ruins it.
Wooden and unintuitive January 10, 2007 Eclectic bagpiper (USA) I owned Cricket 2002 and was very good at it. However, with pretty much the same commands for batting in Cricket 2005, I found it very difficult to score at more than 4 runs an over. There has been very little improvement in terms of shot selection and choice. Most shots are impossible to play even on deliveries that are begging for it (i.e. hook or pull a short ball on middle stump), and the game engine whimsically plays a shot different from what you chose, for no rhyme or reason. The rendering is so poor that though your player clearly is shown to slide his bat into the crease but is given out. The speed of throws coming in from the boundary is ridiculous (lightning fast). Having played this sport at competitive levels, I find the batting part unacceptable. If you already own Cricket 2002, don't waste your money on this clunker. This review is for the PC CD-ROM version of this game.
Cricket April 27, 2006 Mr. S. Gray (Oxford) Well firstly i think its important to mention the fact that its a very hard game to convey effectively on a computer platform. But i believe that they do this with a degree of success in this case. however i dont think that this game is in fact as good as Brian lara Cricket on the same platform. It does however have better licenses etc and this i suppose is a good thing however for me the gameplay is just not up to scratch and needs work if this is to challenge Brian Lara Cricket.
Great game, even greater service January 18, 2006 Richard M. Priest (Falls Church, VA USA) Cricket 2005 helps this yankee get his cricket fix in a country where cricket is hard to come by. The BigBlue Cricket Company provided me with surperior customer service. They were extremely responsive and helped me with all of my cricket needs. Keep up the good work!
