Excelent for the price November 22, 2008 Shad Hall (Gray, Maine) I bought this gun to dial in my 4yr old son's snowmobile for grass dragging. After making some modifications the gun said his sled was going 18mph and when my son raced again his time slip said 18mph so I'd say the gun is pretty accurate.

- Easy to use. - Target must be 10mph or faster. - High consumption of battery power. - Best to use rechargeable battery in this unit.
Our Speed gun September 23, 2008 jolyon (Winter Park Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The microwave speed gun , liked by the owners and users, and often disliked by speeders, has become another appliance. At short range, it reads runners and walkers and projectiles quite well. Looking thru front or rear vehicle windows gives very accurate own speed, and can see oncoming relative speed as well. The usual caution must be observed. ONLY ONE moving subject,or lots of confusion in the circuitry. Aside; When these devices look at each other, they are both blind. The instructions confirm this. " Semantics; Although the word "radar" is used to describe this "Doppler speed gun", A real RADAR* tells distance as well as velocity. Decorations: I would have liked a little "tuning fork" to check the speed accuracy. * RADAR= RAdio Distance And Ranging. Jolyon
You get what you pay for August 1, 2008 K. Davis (Coppell, TX United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This product does not have the range required to be an effective speed gun for baseball. I tried to use the gun while sitting behind home plate at a summer college game and could not get a reading. Very disappointing. The range differences between the models should be explicitly listed on the web site.
what a blast ive had July 29, 2008 razorrik (ALABAMA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
right out of the box,, drop in battaries, and off you go.no issues or noproblems. we have had problems with speeders on our business rd for a while,so just to see how bad it was,i decided to test it out. lot of 60's and even up to a 73 mph in a 40mph speedzone..but those that had there radar detectors on were slowing down big time and breakin there knecks lookin round for a cop,, it was hillarious,,and then we decided to clock some of my rc cars,, it was a blast playing with this thing. no problems useing or reading it,, functioned great.
