Product Description The player who is the first to get 10 cards into low-to-high sequential order is the winner. A fun way to teach numbers to younger children. 2-4 players.
Editorial Review Like many card games, Rack-O is part skill, part luck of the draw. Two to four players try to get their rack of 10 cards in consecutive order, from lowest to highest, first. The cards are numbered from 1 to 60, and each player takes a turn by drawing and discarding. Bonus Rack-O points are earned when a player gets a perfect run of three or more cards. The first to rack up 500 points wins. The rule book doesn't suggest variations, but more challenge can be added by having to get certain number patterns, like even numbers or multiples of 3, which will also increase the number skills development that's part of this game. --Lynne Sampson

fun and more fun in the new version. September 8, 2008 Jean Card (usa) The game was always fun in the old version, but the new version gives you the chance to add a little spice to the game, when you can set your opponents back or change their strategy.
Family and Classroom game -Lots of fun For all - August 31, 2008 K. P. McLemore (Orlando, FL United States) My family loves this game. It is easy to learn but has a lot of critical thinking skills also. I use in my middle school classroom too. Students love it. My honors students get very competitive and it is easy enough for the shorter attention span of my remedial student. The strategy of getting the cards in order can is easy to learn but hard to master. A round can easily fit into that extra 20 minutes in class. In my remedial classes, I have made decks of fractions or decimals that replace the whole number cards once the class has learned the rules. This is a skill that we sometimes have difficulty with and this way is fun. I would definitely put RACKO on my top ten list of games.
Racko is not just for Kids July 23, 2008 James G. Mcdaniel (Memphis, Tennessee) We have hours of fun playing Racko. Once you get the hang of it the game becomes pretty cut throat. Good for all ages.
Rack-O July 18, 2008 P. Morstad (Plentywood, MT USA) Rack-O is a fun game for all ages. My class at school likes to play it when they have free time and I like to play it with them when I get the chance. My granddaughter played it when she came to visit, so 3 generations were playing it. We had a fine time!!!
good game July 14, 2008 S. muegge (la) My Grandaughter and I have played this game for two years and we both enjoy it. She is ten now.
