It's 2008. The Mets just blew the playoffs after their second late season meltdown in as many years. Thinking of the Mets put me in mind of their ancestors, the Brooklyn Dodgers who often pulled the same bonehead stunt, but with more panache.

This adjustable cap sports the traditional Brooklyn script and a sketch of Willard Mullin's famous signature caricature of the Brooklyn Bum. In keeping with the ragtag image of "Dem Bums," the bill of the hat is slightly distressed (examine the photo image carefully). This is intentional damage.

Wear it with pride and a smile, and in honor of the Brooklyn Dodgers of yore!
